FAQs
SHOULD I ENROLL FOR GROUP OR PRIVATE LESSONS?
It depends on your child. Take into consideration your child's age and if your child does well in group settings. Keep in mind that it is easier to start with group lessons and transitioned to private lessons later on than the other way around. Older children (11 and above) might do better in private lessons as lessons can further customized based on child's interests. Most beginners group lessons range from ages 6 to age 12. In addition, it is also cheaper to learn in a group setting compared to private lessons.
How are group lessons structured?
Just like private lessons, the teacher will go through new materials in class as a group and individually. Students will be playing as a group for previous assignments. Students in group lessons will get more opportunities to learn to play in an ensemble setting as well as learn new theory concepts through group games during lessons.
DO STUDENTS have to share piano?
No. Each student will have their own piano during class.
